Laura Stöckl Profile 2025.jpg

Laura Stöckl is a German-Luxembourgish artist based in Amsterdam.

With a rich background in high-end fashion design, Laura has worked with iconic luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Karl Lagerfeld, Matthew Williamson, and Liebeskind Berlin. Her creative practice blends art and fashion, using storytelling, craftsmanship, and bold aesthetics to explore identity, memory, and cultural narratives.

Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design from London and a Master of Arts in Luxury Accessories Design from the prestigious Institut Français de la Mode in Paris. She is also a fully trained educator in fashion and colour theory, having completed an intensive faculty training at Istituto Marangoni in 2020.

As a synesthete, Laura perceives sounds and emotions as color—an experience that fuels her abstract gradient paintings and intricate mixed-media collages. Her work often weaves together handwritten notes, screenshots, and media cuttings, drawing viewers into layered stories that reflect both personal and collective experience.

In 2024, Laura presented two solo exhibitions in Amsterdam. Her international exhibition path continues in 2025 with group shows in Cape Town, South Africa, and a presentation at Amsterdam’s RAI Exhibition Center.

Alongside her artistic career, Laura remains active as a consultant in the luxury fashion industry, focusing on leather goods, accessories, and creative direction. Her deep expertise and eye for innovation make her a trusted voice in the world of contemporary fashion.
